About the role
We are preparing Renky’s first native mobile apps. As our iOS App Developer, you will own the Swift/SwiftUI client that brings Metro Vancouver rentals to people’s pockets — search, map-friendly browsing, saved homes, and secure messaging.
You will work with our web platform APIs, push a high bar for UI polish, and help define how Renky feels on iPhone. This is a chance to shape the mobile product from the ground up.
What you’ll do
- Build and maintain the Renky iOS app in Swift and SwiftUI
- Integrate with Renky backend APIs for listings, auth, and messaging
- Deliver accessible, performant UI that matches our brand
- Ship App Store releases with solid crash monitoring and feedback loops
- Partner with design on mobile-first flows for renters and landlords
What you’ll bring
- 3+ years of professional iOS development
- Strong Swift and SwiftUI skills
- Experience shipping at least one production App Store app
- Familiarity with REST APIs, auth flows, and offline-friendly UX
- Portfolio or App Store links we can review
- Based in Canada (or able to work Canadian hours)
Nice to have
- MapKit / location-based UX experience
- Push notifications and deep linking
- CI/CD for iOS (Xcode Cloud, Fastlane, or similar)
- Exposure to Android or React Native
